Alice in Wonderland
Thursday, March 25, 2010, 11:13 PM
I've never really read through the whole story of Alice's Adventure in Wonderland cause I thought it's quite a dark childhood stody among all and wait, my mom's English name is Alice, too. It's just weird to read a storybook with your mom's name in it, and when 'she' is the main character of the whole story. It might sound stupid but that's what I thought when I was small.

Until recently Alice in Wonderland the movie came out and I decided to give it a try. It was indeed a nice movie especially when I watched it with my loved ones. And imagine white rabbit in waistcoat, blue shisha-smoking caterpillar, green eyed Cheshire cat with a seductive grin who doesn't involve himself into politics.... Everything's just adorable and fantasy.

Can I own him pleeeaase?

I'm tired and I guess it's time to sleep.
Till then.

It's al-right

It's been a hectic and busy week. I've caught a cold since last few days and it doesn't seem to be getting better. The inner part of my left nostril is swollen and it causes difficulty breathing. It's pretty torturing, especially during my sleep.

Just a moment before I write this, I broke down, in my room, emotionally, and quietly, so that my parents wouldn't hear me. I wasn't feeling strong suddenly. I felt so helpless. I realized how tired and frightened I was. I saw I had been working too hard, pretending I was okay when I really wasn't. It was as if I didn't want to know those vulnerable feelings. I was afraid if they came out, I would collapse and not be able to do the job I needed to do.

And now I'm sitting in front of my PC, listening to Regina Spektor's while updating my blog. I guess I'm fine already, cause I'm over it, the scary imagination.

I think I need some quality resting time, urgently. But wait, I've got to wake up pretty early tomorrow to meet up with the merchandiser and representatives from the other outlets for Spring Summer '10 brand strategy and model store set up. Ah, It's gonna be yet another tiring day.

Ciaos.

I desperately need you.

Now I'm all exhausted and tired of all the traffic jams and car horns all the way from Mid Valley back to my house. Malaysians - OK, some Malaysians, particularly those who thought they ruled the roads with their expensive cars and stupid driving skills are really sad people cause they couldn't even differentiate between red and green colour on the traffic lights and all they did were driving at a 40km/h while holding on to their handphones. And the traffic polices were another thing. Gosh, these people should get a life. Ah let's not talk about it or else a strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence will get my brain stroked.

I woke up early this morning, dressed myself up with an off white lohan vest layered with a floral lining blazer, a pair of light grey skinny jeans and my new pair of ballet pumps, and put on some light make ups before my dad drove me to the Cititel Mid Valley for a Take Charge training programme which is organised by the DNP. The way you look and how you carry yourself are actually quite important so that people will have a good impression on you and it's one of the ways to show your respect towards people, that's what I think, certainly. Hmm, I guess I was just finding some stupid excuses for being late to the seminar. Haha, smack me. =P

Aights, so I think this is one of the best training programmes I've ever attended so far as it actually taught us to appreciate what we're having now and be grateful with it. Yet, don't take things for granted and do improve ourselves to get more than that. One of my favourite quotes from the trainer named Rizal: "Life is full of choices. So, CHOOSE LAH!" Every moment is a choice, and every choice is YOUR choice. Try not to put all the blame on others when you couldn't get what you want cause it was YOUR choice.

Well said, there are no wrong choices in life. Okay it may sounds a little bit extreme. Perhaps it can't be as absolute as that. Every choice has consequences, some that we won't see further down the road. It's not that whether you've made the right or wrong choice, but how it actually solves your problems in life. If it doesn't, try again, and again, until the problem solved. That's how I understand the statement. And if we were to examine the statement from the truth of the matter, it would only lead to endless debate.

I had a really good time throughout the seminar as I've gotten to meet new people from other fashion brands and outlets with different job positions, as well as those from Human Resource department, Marketing, Merchandising and so on. And Rizal was definitely the one to spice up the whole training programme with his interesting yet funny Manglish (Malaysian English). And this Malay guy has left a lasting impression on me with his Chinese Kung Fu shirt. Haha, nice stuff.

That's all for now I guess.
Till then. ;D

The spring festival

It's all started with a lonely 6 hours journey at the car backseat.

This is the reason why I couldn't wait to come back to the lovely KL city.

And it spells BFF.

Surprising enough, I had a really good time with a 5.5 feets tall(roughly) German Shepherd.

I could tell she was pretty upset but I kept silent.

So say cheese, my dear.

I think I have mood swings.

while sometimes it's Michael Buble.
