My Top 5 Cold Rainy Day Activities
Tuesday, April 27, 2010, 5:00 PM
1. Listen to some audiophile CDs in a room with air conditioning on.
2. Go to the cinema alone and watch a good movie.
3. Hang out at a cafe with a nice city view.
4. Cuddle under a warm blanket and read a good book.
5. Get some awesome korean food. Think spicy rice cakes, spicy stew with kimchi and some grilled pork ribs. Another glass of soju would perfectly fulfill my korean food crave.

It started out as a feeling

which then turned into yet another breakdown. Tears kept rolling down my face. I thought I couldn't take it anymore. But wait. Life isn't just like that. I've got to enjoy my life, enjoy the presence of myself, enjoy the presence of everyone around me, enjoy every manifestation of life, and be grateful for the air by enjoying every breath.

I guess music is the best solution to stopping the horrific thoughts in my head. Replace the thoughts with music, because we can't explain music. Listening to some bossa nova really worked for me because they're harmonious and charming? Bossa nova songs frequently have no more than two lyrical verses, and many lack a bridge, which I find them quite interesting.

Ah, perhaps Olivia Ong is going to sing me to sleep tonight.

Hard is good, but not for life.

The storyteller.

When you know that those are just their stories, why bother defending your point of view? It doesn't matter what you say; they will not believe you anyway. How can they believe your story when it isn't their point of view? The best you can do is to change the conversation, enjoy their presence, and love them the way they are.

No, I'm not.

I was pulling out my hair
The day I cut the deal
Chemically calm
Was I meant to feel happy
That my life was just about to change

One life pretending to be
The cow that got the cream
Oh, everybody said
Marina is a dreamer
People like to tell you what you're gonna be
It's not my problem if you don't see what I see
And I do not give a damn if you don't believe
My problem, it's my problem
That I never am happy
It's my problem, it's my problem
On how fast I will succeed

Are you satisfied with an average life
Do I need to lie to make my way in life

High achiever don't you see
Baby, nothing comes for free
They say I'm a control freak
Driven by a greed to succeed
Nobody can stop me

Cause it's my problem
If I wanna pack up and run away
It's my business if I feel the need to
Smoke and drink and sway
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
It's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Are you satisfied with an average life
Do I need to lie to make my way in life

Are you satisfied with an easy ride
Once you cross the line
Will you be satisfied?

Sad inside
In this life
Unsatisfied praying
Sad inside
In this life
Unsatisfied waiting

Are you satisfied with an average life
Do I need to lie to make my way in life

Are you satisfied with an easy ride
Once you cross the line
Will you be satisfied?

I'm not white and I don't have brown eyes,
but there are some similarities between us.

I'm obsessed with the mess.

We complain the streets are dirty, yet throw litter onto road. We complain the power of the US in Starbuck coffee shops. It's all bullshits.

The first step towards a free society is to take responsibility for our own lives and the decisions we make. This will be the basis of a free society: You are responsible for your actions and your omissions. Only then you be free.

I shall stop myself from hating human beings anymore. Oh yea, and control my sarcasm, too.

Been obsessing over Marina's Hollywood lately. =D
